Match Play
One golfer against another, hole by hole. Win a hole by one stroke or by three and it counts the same, and the match ends the moment it’s decided.
Nine ways to make the round interesting. Match Caddie gives out the strokes, keeps every match live on the scorecard and does the settle-up, so nobody does math in the parking lot. Each game below has a short animated explainer.
Games are Premium. Join a match someone else hosts and its games are switched on for you, free. During the beta, everything is switched on.
Scorekeeping only. Match Caddie never touches money.

Two teams of two, one match. On every hole each team counts its better net score, and the lower team score wins the hole.
Three matches in one round: the front nine, the back nine and the overall. Every front-nine hole counts in two matches at once.
Also covers automatic presses: a new match starts whenever a side falls behind by the margin you set.
Every hole is worth a skin, won only by the outright lowest net score. Tie for low, and nobody wins it.
Also covers carryovers, where a tied skin rolls to the next hole, and validation, where you keep a skin only by backing it up on the next hole.
Every hole is worth nine points: five for the low net score, three for the middle and one for the high, with ties splitting the points. Each pair settles the difference at the end.
Three six-hole segments, two against two, with a new partner each time. Each segment is worth one stake, however many holes it’s won by.
Also covers rolling segments, which end as soon as they’re decided, and scoring a team by its best ball or the sum of both.
Every game, every option and every settle-up, worked out on the course.
